Last week we delivered two Giant Wheels.
We congratulate Mr Gormanns with his new Mondial MCS 3326 Giant Wheel. This totally redesigned model has been delivered last November and started its journey through Europe in France. This wheel has 26 open gondola's and is equipped with LED RGB lights. A beautiful eye catcher at night!
This Spring Kings Dominion in Doswell, VA, USA, opened a Mondial Revolution, Delirium! This giant Frisbee ride can accommodate 40 persons per ride and gives it's passengers a thrilling experience. It's flamboyant theming makes it a hard to miss ride in the park. We wish Kings Dominion a lot of success and fun operating the ride.
Mondial attended the Dutch Trade Mission to France. We welcome many French customers every year so we were honoured to be invited to join this delegation. Icing on the cake was the opportunity to personally show her Majesty Queen Màxima our products. Many thanks to "Van Vugt Models" for letting us use the scale model of our MCS 5528 ride. Last November, Mondial finished a very prestigious Project, building the highest transportable Giant Wheel in the World. With 70 meters height, and 48 gondolas, this wheel stands proud on the "Place the la Concorde" in Paris. This new "Roue de Paris" replaces the old 55 meter wheel and will be a very important tourist attraction in Paris. We congratulate our customer, Mr Campion, with this new Mondial wheel.
Mondial congratulates Mr Harms with his second MCS Giant wheel, type 55 meter. With 42 closed gondolas, this creates even more capacity for one of our most respected customers. The picture is taken on the "dam" in Amsterdam, one of the most visited places in the Netherlands. One of the reasons the city of Amsterdam grants Mr Harms this venue, is that the wheel is assembled and disassembled in 12 hours. One of Mondials unique selling points!
